The Bible is one of the sources that Unitarian Universalists have drawn from to affirm our commitment to justice, compassion and the transforming power of love. In this seven session series, we will examine the ways in which lessons from the Bible connect to our own lives and to our UU values and traditions and we will explore the ways in which the Bible has been both a tool for liberation and a tool of oppression. Learning new ways of interpreting, contextualizing, and understanding the Bible can help to deepen our Unitarian Universalist faith.
This class will be led by Mark Bernstein and be offered in two formats:
In person on Tuesday, February 24 through Tuesday, April 7 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm in the McClennen Room.
On Zoom on Wednesday evenings from Feb 25 through April 8 from 7:00-8:30 pm.
