Please fill out this form and click submit.

In order to participate in our RE program, all Children and youth must be registered. We encourage families with infants and toddlers to register as well.  There is no general registration fee for children under 3 and high school students.

There is a $25/child (max. $50/family) resources fee for Preschool through 8th grade. This fee does not reflect the full program cost. If this fee is challenging for your family at this time, please simply select the scholarship option in the payment window at the bottom of the form.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Chrissy Bushyager (chrissy.bushyager@uucdc.org), Director of Faith Formation.

A/V Recording Notice

UUCDC has a number of remote members. Worship services are transmitted live via zoom. Additionally, recordings of the services are posted online on our YouTube channel.
Children and youth who participate in worship (for example: lighting the chalice, singing in the choir, offering a reading, etc.) will be recorded and those videos may be posted online. Specific youth led services (YUUCKI bridging and COA) are zoomed live but recordings are not posted online.
It is the responsibility or parents/guardians to decline invitations to participate in worship if you do not want your child to be recorded and videos posted online.
Community Commitment

The UUCDC a volunteer-based religious community and depends on many volunteers to make it work. We ask each family with a child registered in Religious Education to be active volunteers in our community. This could involve teaching RE, helping with special events, holding a leadership postion in our congregation, or otherwise volunteering at UUCDC.
Behavior and Safety Expectations

Before and after RE class time, parents are responsible to supervise their children and youth. Our church policy requires children 10 and under to be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times when they are not in RE class.
All children and youth are expected to behave with respect to each other, adults and their space. Any child or youth who is being disruptive or threatening the safety of others or of him/herself will be asked to stop the disruptive or unsafe behavior. If the child or youth will not, then a parent will be called to remove the child or youth from the classroom or other area until the behavior can be amended.

The Community Safety Covenant is available on the UUCDC website. All efforts will be made by the Director of Faith Formation, volunteers, and parents to help children and youth know what the expectations are.
